Summer is winding down and school is back in session, and what better time to learn is there than now? For the last several months, sales leader Patrick Carter and our CEO Lynn Whitbeck have been working through their 12-part series highlighting the top sales power skills, illustrated by their “PERFORMANCE” acronym. By now, we’ve explored the first seven letters – “Problem Solving,” “Engagement,” “Resilience,” “Flexibility,” “Originality,” “Resourcefulness,” and “Magnate” – and now the duo are back to discuss the eighth letter, “A,” standing for “Agility.”
Agility is all about being quick and being able to think on your toes. How agile are you? How profoundly can this skill impact your sales career?
Learn all about agility and how to develop this trait in our new podcast below:
It’s no surprise that being agile can be a huge benefit in your life and career. It means being able to respond to situations swiftly and make decisions even when there’s no time to lose. How does this specifically work in the sales world?
Patrick and Lynn share examples of how being agile has helped them in their careers. When time is of the essence, agility can be the tipping point between closing the sale and missing out on it.
Luckily, we can all learn to be more agile. Lynn and Patrick discuss different exercises you can do to practice agility. Soon enough, you’ll have one more power skill to add to your resume.
Ultimately, agility translates to leadership and an accelerated career path.
