How to Accept That Not Everyone Will Like You

Like it or not, and try as we might, not everyone will like you. For some this can be hard to accept, but realize that this doesn’t speak badly of you. As likable as you are, some people just won’t get along with you. That’s fine in life, but how will it affect your sales career? Sales is about building relationships, so how do you work successfully with individuals you don’t necessarily get along with?

If the decision maker for the purchase of your product or service demonstrates, by their behavior or actions, that they do not like you, what should you do? How do you maintain your self-esteem while accepting that someone you work with dislikes you?
