3 Steps to Easily Create Authentic Content to Attract Clients

Providing valuable content is a great way to attract new customers and clients. This we know. But how can you create posts and videos that you’re sincerely passionate about? We spoke with coach RJ Redden about easy ways to produce authentic content for your prospects.

Watch to discover how to convert your genuine feelings into attractive content

RJ has been coaching people about technology since 1998. That’s even before we were worried about the year 2000 destroying all computers everywhere! She once spent five months in a country where she didn’t know the language, just so she could learn how to explain things more effectively to people.

RJ loves teaching technology like it’s her best friend. And she has the most outstanding clients on Earth!

Selling the True You

RJ begins by explaining her inspiration to help people connect authentically. She explains that her passion for technology and love for human connection motivated her to marry the two. After all, technology without connection is like confetti – pretty in the moment but ultimately makes a huge mess.

Without beating around the bush, RJ reveals her 3 steps for authentic, client-attracting content. Step 1: Know Thy Peeps. Demographics aren’t enough. You have to know how they make decisions. Find the narrow group of people whose language you speak, and speak directly to them. Step 2: Know Thyself. What’s unique about you and your product/service? What are your specific strengths? (RJ’s greatest strength is her listening skills!) Step 3: Know Where Thy Peeps and Thyself Meet. Where is that? Your people’s inboxes. Algorithms can’t touch your direct conversations – you and your people have joint custody. You can be your genuine self in these conversations without trying to appease the social media overlords.

RJ reveals the major obstacle that held her back from creating authentic content. It may be holding you back, too! She had to overcome the voice in her head saying nobody wanted to listen to what she had to say. There are people who are and will be interested in you and your product/service. You can’t be everyone’s cup of tea, but there is an audience who will connect with you.

As the conversation winds down, RJ leaves listeners with a tip and a pearl of wisdom. Her tip is for you to spend a little time each morning writing anything and everything that comes to mind. It will make things much easier when you go to write emails, social media posts, etc. The pearl of wisdom is that, no matter how shiny your tools are, you have to put your heart into your words and work.
