John Doherty’s life mission is to preserve your family history and transform it into a living celebration. 

Oprah Winfrey, the Wrigley family (of Wrigley Field and Spearmint Gum fame), and the Billy Graham Evangelical Association have all turned to John to preserve their most cherished memories, photographs, and videos. 

John managed the preservation of the most extensive Italian world map collection outside of Italy. Organizations such as Western Electric, the Art Institute of Chicago, and Rotary International have all depended on his expertise. And The Daughters of the American Revolution entrusted him to preserve their scrapbooks.

He has personally scanned millions of photos and documents and helped hundreds of families ensure their history is not lost, but is a permanent, living archive for generations to come. He turns his clients’ dusty boxes full of slides, VHS tapes, photos, negatives, scrapbooks, and wedding albums into permanent treasured heirlooms. His clients light up when they display their family stories at get-togethers and give their loved ones the most unique and personal gifts imaginable. 

John and his wife Julie, who has been married for 34 years, live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. They have raised two compassionate daughters and a fun-loving son. John is a proud grandfather of two boys, Cooper and Theo.
