We start with some quick tips and tricks, like knowing your priorities and utilizing to-do lists. It’s helpful to be aware of interdependencies and timelines, and to pay attention to how difficult a task is and what needs to be prioritized.
It’s also important to choose your battles. Be realistic about your time and energy. You may need to compromise some things if there truly isn’t enough time in the day.
Planning your day will involve considering logistics. You may have to consider locations and how long it takes to get from point A to point B. You may also have to be flexible about when exactly things get done.
Procrastination is one major roadblock that can get you off course really fast. Luckily, we have some ideas on how to get past it and on how to share the load when there’s simply too much on your plate.
Finally, don’t forget to recharge! Your time management needs to include enough breaks and time to refuel and do nothing. That’ll keep you in tip-top shape to tackle each day.
