Have you ever wanted to write a book? Do you feel under-qualified, overwhelmed, and unsure how to start? We have some aspiring writers here at Petite2Queen, and trust us, we’ve been there. So many people dream of writing a book… yet many of us don’t know where to start or where to find the confidence to do so. Whatever you want to write, we want you to be empowered to put pen to paper (or, er, fingers to keyboard) and get your story out there. We spoke to author Toni Kief to get some expert tips. Toni is the author of Dare to Write in a Flash, in which she helps you learn and fine-tune the art of writing. In our new interview, she shared some of her best advice.
Toni starts the interview by sharing how her path led her to writing. She then reveals her seven steps to start writing – tips that anyone can implement. Start by reading – fiction and non-fiction, any genre, styles you’ve never read before. The more you read, the better command you’ll have of of the language and effective story-telling. Another tip Toni shared is on writing flash fiction. Not sure what that is? She explains it in our new interview!

This was a great experience and I’m very pleased with the results. I’ll be following every presentation.
Wow! I know Toni as a writer but I never knew her story of how she stared wring and how she reinvented herself by getting herself out of a bad marriage. She is inspiring and encouraging. Besides, she has this great sense of humor that is contagious.
