We spoke with our returning guest, Dr. Paula Fellingham, Founder and CEO of Win Win Women. She told us how to develop and understand your target market, as well as how to get your solutions in front of the people who most need them.

Dr. Paula Fellingham is the Founder and CEO of Win Win Women. Win Win Women is a global multi-media network and international community of women. It combines today’s best platforms: television shows, weekly online video Shows, radio, social media, a website, an app, live events, an online university, and local groups gathering in “Circles.” All of this to help 3.9 billion women achieve a level of excellence in every area of their lives, in an environment created by women, for women. She is the author of eight books, including the internationally popular Believe It! Become It! How to Hurdle Barriers and Excel Like Never Before.
Dr. Paula is the recipient of the “Points of Light Award” given by U. S. President George W. Bush. She is also the recipient of the “President’s Volunteer Service Award” given by U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Paula was honored as WA State Young Mother of the Year, UT State Woman of the Year, and NYC News National Woman of the Year 2021.
Most importantly, Dr. Paula is the mother to eight children and grandmother to 25 grandchildren.
Ideal Client Personas
We begin our conversation with how Dr. Paula defines target marketing and ideal personas. She told us which questions to ask yourself when starting a business about who you want to serve with your product or service. She also cautioned that terms like ‘target market’ and ‘ideal persona’ risk overlooking the individuality of the people you’re trying to serve.
Next, Dr. Paula explained why understanding your ideal client personas is so important to sales and business success. She told us that by not niching down to the people you’re most suited to serve, you’re wasting precious time and resources reaching out to people who don’t identify with or need your solutions.
Knowing all this, finding your way to your target market can still be difficult. Dr. Paula offered advice on how to connect with and stand out to your ideal clients by using the media you’re most comfortable with.
We ended our conversation by discussing how women can quickly and effectively attract their ideal clients. Reaching out to other people in your field can be a good start, but make sure to vet the people and show hosts you’re considering collaborating with. Also, don’t forget that Win Win Women might be a good fit for putting yourself in front of your target market.
